| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究における目的は、無機キラル化合物の結晶構造キラリティを制御出来る新規不斉結晶育成手法の開発とキラル磁性体における結晶と磁気構造のキラリティ結合の実験的検証を行うことである。2019年度において得られた成果は以下の通りである。
(a) 無機キラル化合物の不斉大型単結晶の育成
レーザー浮遊帯域炉を用いた浮遊帯域法による無機キラル磁性体TSi (T: 遷移金属元素) の不斉大型単結晶育成手法の確立に成功した。
(b) キラルソリトン格子の実験的検証
無機キラル磁性体CrNb3S6において磁場中小角中性子散乱を実施した。測定結果は、キラルソリトン格子形成に基づいた理論計算から期待される結果と良く一致するため、キラルソリトン格子の観測に成功したと考えられる。
