| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
UC Berkeley C.V. Starr East Asian library has 3,500 titles of Japanese old manuscripts. our goal is to build an online database of that.
We made trips to US for 30 days and have investigated the manuscripts. Based on the data, we have been forming online database. It is almost done.
On the other hand, we formed a panel presentation at a conference in US and made an online workshop.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
海外での現地調査をもとに近日公開予定の旧三井文庫写本データベースは、書物研究において脚光を浴びつつある「出版時代の写本」について考える上で、これまでにない大きな資料を提供することになるはずである。
また、海外で行ったパネル発表およびオンライン・ワークショップは、その意義について新たな価値を提示するとともに、日本のみならず世界の写本学と接続することを可能にした。
また、海外所蔵の日本古典籍について英語で学会発表を行ったことは、本科研の分類である「海外学術調査」の趣旨に沿ったものであったはずである。
