Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This research aimed to (1) assess malaria associated factors, (2) determine effects of community anti-malaria action and (3) assess the risk for healthcare workers to get communicable infections in 2 Congolese rural provinces. Malaria indicator survey and action were conducted; 1 paper published (Malaria Journal 2019), 1 paper is accepted, and 1 malaria research award (IUHW Tokyo, Aug. 2018). HIV/AIDS surveys and epidemiologic study were also conducted with 3,869 participants, and a paper will be submitted to peer-review journal soon. In 2019, survey and capacity-building sessions were carried out for Congolese healthcare workers; data were analysed and 2 more papers to come.

Remarks |
