Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A robotic mattress has positioning cells that expand and contract slowly for repositioning. These cells contributed to patient comfort because the cells could provide patient repositioning without sudden change of posture. While, level of cell expansion/contraction and location of the cells should fit to patient joints such as lower back and shoulder to support patient comfort when they keep positions.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
