Outline of Annual Research Achievements

まず,グラフマイニングの問題として,グラフの節点に複数の属性の有無に関する情報が付随しているとき,節点の部分集合のうち,連結な部分グラフを誘導し,集合内で共通する属性集合が極大であるものを列挙する問題の研究を行った.この問題に対し,出力サイズの多項式時間アルゴリズムを設計し,理論的解析,実装による実性能の確認実験を行った.その後,同問題に対して多項式遅延アルゴリズムが設計できることを証明し,提案アルゴリズムの実性能の確認実験を行った.次に,機械学習で用いられる人工ニューラルネットワークに対して,出力から入力ベクトルを求めるという逆問題に対して,これが混合整数線形計画法を用いて解けることを理論的に証明した.この結果を用いて化合物の分子構造を推定するシステムを構築し始め,現在,木構造,単環構造で非水素原子数で30~40原子数の分子構造を推定することができるようになっている.生物進化の系統樹の構築に応用を持つ点対比較可能グラフ(Pairwise Comaprability Graph)について,PCGの二連結成分への分解定理を証明し,これを利用してPCGをすべて列挙する方法を設計した.現在,計算機実験により節点数が8であるPCGをすべて特定することができた.この他,トラックとドローンを組み合わせた配送計画問題に対する整数計画問題に対する定式化の研究を行い,計算機実験により有効性を確認した.また,情報可視化に応用を持つグラフ描画問題として枝が2色に塗られたグラフの2頁埋め込み問題を解く簡便な線形時間アルゴリズムを設計することができた.
