Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we clarified the relationship between oral swallowing function and nutritional status and dietary intake status in 132 local residents aged 40 to 75 years, and "flow chart for prevention of frailty and swallowing function decline".
As a result, it was clarified that a group with a defect in the occlusal support area was observed with the onset of frailty in the community residents after the age of 65. It was also suggested that tongue pressure and OD are related to the grip strength of physical function.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
