| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In each year, based on the individual research themes set under the comprehensive theme "Reconstructing Pluralism in Taiwanese Contemporary Literature," each researcher conducted research, including overseas surveys, and shared the results at regular study groups, as well as reporting at symposiums and academic conferences in Japan and overseas.
In 2017, we co-hosted the "Immigrant Engineering Literature and Literature Research " with the Institute of Taiwanese Literature, Taiwan University, and in 2018, we held an international public symposium "The Road to Marriage Equality in Taiwan" in collaboration with The Japan Association for Taiwan Studies.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
研究成果で言及した国際シンポジウムやワークショップ、また各自の学会における報告は台湾現代文学における多元性を広く社会に知らしめる効果を果たした。特に、研究分担者及川茜による鯨向海の詩集『Aな夢』や、呉明益の最新代表作『雨の島』の翻訳刊行は、日本における台湾現代文学の周知に大きな貢献を果たした。また、研究代表者四方田千恵（垂水千恵）が、単著『奮鬥的心靈：呂赫若與他的時代』を台湾で刊行したことも、本研究成果の国際的広がりを示すものと言える。
