| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究はバイリンガル話者と呼ばれる人々が、英語と日本語に共通に存在する換喩表現をどのように産出しているかを、心理言語学の手法によって比較検証することが目的である。平成３１年度は日本国内において、日本人を対象とした実験を継続して行った。
実験実施の他には、オランダ・ナイメーヘン大学「Tanaka, M. (2018) Priming the Production of Metonymic Expression in Sentence Production. Poster presented at the International Workshop in Language Production, Max planck institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen, Netherlands, July 1st, 2018」、近畿大学「Tanaka, M, R. Takahashi, Yu. Higuchi (2019) 'Modelling the L2 Mental Lexicon, Invited talk for the workshop’ 2018 Workshop on Text Mining and Discourse Spectral Analysis, Kinki University, Osaka, Japan.」、関西学院大学「Tanaka, M, R. Takahashi, Yu. Higuchi (2019) 'Modelling the L2 Mental Lexicon, Talk presented at the Kansai Circle of Psycholinguistics, Kwansei Gakuin University, Kobe, Japan, January 26th, 2019」などで発表を行った。また、今回の実験方法を参照とし、大学院生にも実験を行えるような解説本を執筆した（Tanaka, M. (submitted) 心理言語学における言語産出の実験方法（第６章）.『パソコンがあればできる！ 心理言語学実験の方法（仮）』、ひつじ書房（2019年出版予定））。

Reason
本年度は日本人対象の実験を確実に終わらせることができるように進めた。海外でのバイリンガルを対象とした実験実施がまた行えていないが、次年度で確実に実施して終了することができると確信している。
研究実施以外には、国内外の学会に積極的に参加し、研究結果を発表することができた。様々な研究者とこの研究成果について議論を行うことができ、今後の研究において大変参考となった。ゆえに、研究計画はおおむね順調に進展している。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
令和元年の本研究課題の今後の推進方策は、すでに実施された実験を元に、海外でも行動実験を実施する。その実験を確実に終了させ、実験データの分析を行う予定である。
また、その実験結果を元に成果発表を行うため、国内外の学会へ積極的に参加する。同時に、エられた結果を学術雑誌へ投稿するため、論文作成の準備も並行して行う。
