| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
平成29年度には『広島大学教授地村彰之先生御退職記念論文集』に論文 "James Joyce and a Freer Flow of Consciousness" を寄稿し、textレベルでのthematizationの一例の研究を行った。本書は近々刊行予定である。尚、本科研費研究に基づいて最後の年度に外国での出版を考えているので、それの作成も行っている。本書の構成はTheoretical Backgroundに始まり、そこで本科研費研究の趣旨である言語学者のHallidayの機能主義言語学の概要を述べ、その機能主義の虚構テクストレベルへの応用の仕方を論じ、その後、本研究で行って来た分析例を第２部に置く予定である。

上記で述べた刊行予定書を急ぎ形づけたい。そこで本研究の全体像がまとめられるからである。

研究室のコンピュータ他の機器のアップデートを行った。それまで使用していたものが古くなったためである。
