Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The third year involved completing transcription of classroom observation and interview data as well as analysis of quantitive and qualitative measures. Survey, testing, and classroom observation data taken during year two was synthesized and a publishing and presentation plan was created. First, we completed a paper outlining the major findings of our study, and the paper is currently under with Language Teaching Research Journal for consideration. We are also in the process of completing a further two papers, one on the testing data, the other on classroom interaction data. We also presented on two aspects of the study at the Self Determination Theory Conference in Holland in May 2019, and the Applied Linguistics Conference in Australia, in November 2019.
