コロナ禍の影響もあり，前年度の研究費補助金に33.617円の残額が生じた。この残額は，国際主義の多様な展開と地理学との関連についての研究を継続することに使用した。本年度末には，2023年6月にイタリア・ミラノで開催予定のIGU（国際地理学連合）のテーマ会議“The Ocean and Seas in Geographical Thought”における地理学史コミッション主催のセッション“Liquid worlds: historical geographies and cartographies of the sea”での発表を目指して，“Representing a maritime empire: allegorical artworks at the East India House in London, 1729-1799”と題するアブストラクトを執筆して投稿した。これは幸いにもアクセプトされたが，その準備のための資料収集にも残額を使用した。
