Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To reassess the historical establishment of European integration and its ideological foundations, this research examines the interaction of ideas and the development of european integration from the early 20th century to the establishment of the Treaty of Rome from multiple perspectives. Firstly, it addresses the role of Ordoliberalism during the formative period of the Treaty of Rome. Secondly, it elucidates ideas and perspectives on integration held by Alexandre Kojeve, a Marxist as well as a Hegelian. In addition, it explores the generation and development of internationalist thought leading to integration. This examination is also encapsulated in textbooks and general publications concerning the historical development of European integration and EU politics.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
