意志の力が足りないために望ましい選択ができない消費者の行動を分析する、意思決定モデルを提案し、その公理的基礎付けを与え、またその契約理論への応用を行った、論文 "Willpower and Compromise Effect"を Theoretical Economicsに公刊した。

本研究課題で、構築するべき意思決定モデルはほぼ完成した。今後は、このモデルの契約理論（一部は達成済み）、ゲーム理論などへの応用を重点的にすすめる。

諸事情により海外大学在籍の共同研究者の訪問等がかなわなかったため、これを2020年度に延期した。
