| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
For FY2019, field research was amended to focus on interview and material data collection from similar geographic countries (like Japan) both Italy and New Zealand and comparisons made with previous work. Regrettably, towards the end this was impacted by the Corona-19 virus. Hence, some of the research outputs remain in process for FY2020.
Themes were:
1) Converse: Communication continued with various research partners. Conference attendance enabled feedback on papers prepared.
2) Engage: Research meetings. Field visits to Italy, New Zealand and Tokyo provided interview and hard materials. University libraries sourced.
3) Create: Field survey interviews for NZ and Italy were completed with researchers, rural groups, NGOs and government bodies. Papers were written and are under review.
