Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study investigated the effectiveness of community cultural development through the content analysis of literature and interview research among middle class migrant communities in Sydney, Australia. The study also found that digital media practices in community arts and community cultural development in Australia facilitated the social cohesion of migrants and refugees in the community. By using the research results, we conducted digital storytelling workshops with migrants in Fukui and investigate the effectiveness in multicultural social work. Also, in addition to the social work field with migrants, we attempted to use the digital media practice in other social work fields such as people with intellectual disability and people who stutter.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
