Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I have planned Unit Study Workshops in which students, teachers and citizens of various levels, collaborate to create units that aims for the future society, and 34 times are held for teachers' research meetings, their subcommittees, lectures and on-site lessons. I also tried and practiced introductions to my lectures and teacher trainings. In the papers and co-authors, I could summarize the basic flow, issues that arose, its conditions, and the pioneering example of the early postwar period and their significance today. Inevitability beyond school was also found, and it was discovered that discussions based on the life-world could be sought by resisting systems only at study events held by citizens. In response to suggestions from those events, I was able to write a number of articles that would allow me to think about social and educational problems from the reality of life, and to think through the solutions while utilizing the logic of politics and economy.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
1)単元案をその場で創るワークショップを開く試み自体に意義があった。生活・対話の側から政治・経済システムの論理に批判意識を持つことで,逆にシステムを使いこなせる実践を,共同探究する場となった。2)学校の現状からすると,若年化と多忙化の中で,単元づくりが困難となっているが,そこでこそ教師達にとどまらず,学生や市民を集めて習作の場を創ること自体の実践的な意義が明らかにできた。その先駆例を戦後教育史のうちに求めた。3)以上のために,豊富に情報や文献を収集し整理・分析して,必要なものを必要なときに選んで活用できるよう準備しておくことの意義がわかった。こうした思考自体をコア・カリキュラムの応用と捉えた。
