Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Introducing defects into graphene was studied to control the physical properties and to develop high-performance graphene-based electronic devices. In this study, the relationship among the interactions of graphene with molecules, electronic structures, and transport properties was clarified. Defective graphene was found to be useful for highly sensitive sensor device to selectively detect environmental pollutants in air.
