Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The thermal transport properties of four different 3D LMF was calculated numerically and compared. The studied structures are a) Simple Cubic, b) Side centered Cubic, c) Face-centered Cubic, d) Body-centered cubic. The working fluid for the study was air, and . Firstly, the governing equations which are continuity, momentum and energy equations are solved for the entire domain. Following that, by using the volume-average definition, the transport parameters of the considered structures, which are permeability, inertia coefficient, interfacial heat transfer coefficient and thermal dispersion in longitudinal direction are calculated for different Reynolds numbers and compared. Two publications were prepared and they will be sent in 2020.
