Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度までに開発したダブルステータ型磁気浮上モータを組み込んだ小型ポンプの試作機1号機を製作し,ポンプとしての性能を確認した。回転数とポンプ性能の観点からは,目標値を達成することができた。しかしながら,磁気浮上モータのモータ駆動のため消費電力が大きく,体内に埋め込んで使用するという観点からは,人工心臓への応用は難しいことが明らかとなった。本磁気浮上モータの消費電力が大きい理由としては,モータの設計が最適化されていないこと,インペラ形状が最適化されていないことが考えられる。そこで,試作機1号機の上記の問題点をフィードバックし,より高性能で低消費電力化が可能な試作機2号機を製作に取り組んだ。しかしながら,インペラとケーシングの設計に当初の予定よりも多くの時間を要したこと,モータ用の巻線が破損してしまい最正確に多くの時間をようしことが主な理由となり,試作機2号機を製作するに至らなかった。
