Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は先行研究で開発したN型結晶Si(n-Si)上に導電性高分子PEDOT:PSSを塗布した塗布型結晶Si系太陽電池を下部素子、有機・無機ハイブリッドペロブスカイトFAPbX3(FA: (NH2)2C-H, X=I, Br)薄膜太陽電池を上部素子としたモノリシックタンデム構造素子の作製プロセスの構築による高性能化を目的とする。具体的には、スピンコート法などの塗布プロセスによる上部ペロブスカイト薄膜太陽電池の高効率化およびPEDOT:PSS上に上部ペロブスカイト薄膜太陽電池の電子輸送層との接合技術の開発を主目標とした。前者では溶媒の選択によるペロブスカイト層結晶粒の拡大、一段階成膜法による薄膜の均一性の向上、ペロブスカイト薄膜のI/Br組成比によるバンドギャップ制御と酸化スズ薄膜を電子輸送層とした上部ペロブスカイト素子の高効率化を検討した。その結果1)PEDOT:PSS/n-Si界面の電流輸送特性がp+/n接合モデルで説明できること。2)I/Br組成比を調整することで上部素子の変換効率15-16%を実現した。3)PEDOT:PSS/2酸化スズ(SnO2)接合特性に関して、PEDOT:PSS成膜時の溶媒添加量を調整することで界面の電流輸送機構をオーミックから整流特性まで制御できることを明らかにした。以上の成膜条件および膜厚の最適化によりモノリシックn-Si/PEDPOT:PSS/FAPbI3タンデム構造素子で効率14.3%、開放電圧1.57Vを得た。以上の成果は塗布型n-Si系太陽電池の他化合物薄膜太陽電池のみならず量子ドット太陽電池、発光素子への展開が期待される。
