Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年,東アジア地域において,主に中国経済の急速な成長に伴ったエネルギーの大量消費と都市化の進行に起因した大気汚染及び黄砂問題は益々深刻化している。黄砂と大気汚染物質は我が国に同時に飛来するケースが多いが,国際共同研究体制が十分ではないため,由来の違いや飛来している間に生じる両者の反応に関する知見は極めて少なかった。
本研究では,アジア大陸に面する本学能登半島大気観測ステーションを本拠地とし,黄砂発祥地及び飛行ルート上にある蘭州,北京,ソウルで黄砂と大気汚染物質を観測し,曝露チャンバーを用いたモデル実験の結果に合わせて,それらの相互作用機構を明らかにすることを目的とした。
本年度は,蘭州,北京,ソウル,金沢及び金沢大学輪島大気測定局(輪島)での大気調査は継続しながら,摸擬チャンバーを用いた黄砂への曝露実験を並行した。モデルPAHとして用いたナフタレン(Nap)では,紫外線照射による光化学反応の生成物は,2-ホルミルシンナムアルデヒドと1,4-ナフトキノンであると同定し,それぞれの生成物の反応ルートを解明し,生成定数を求めた。一方,黄砂の共存下では,生成反応速度がいずれも遅かった。その原因として,黄砂の共存による消光作用が考えられた。しかし,実際に黄砂とPAHが越境輸送時に,共存する酸性ガスや粒子の表面性状により,PAHの酸化メカニズムが極めて複雑化になると考えられるため,なお多くの研究課題が残されている。
