平成30年度は、前年度に引き続き、研究代表者（医師、公衆衛生学者）に加え、精神科医、心理学者、行動嗜癖を専門とする行動経済学者からなる研究体を組織し、7回の班会議を開催した。
平成30年4月～7月は前年度までに作成した尺度の検討を行い、8月以降は実地調査の分析と結果検討、論文投稿に関する議論を行った。
