Outline of Final Research Achievements

Increasing the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori, which is known to cause gastric cancer and gastric ulcer, is one of the most important issues in terms of prevention. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the success or failure of eradication of H. pylori in patients taking H. pylori eradication drugs and their physical characteristics and lifestyle.
The results of the analysis using a self-administered questionnaire and blood tests revealed an association between the difficulty of eradication and women's drinking habits, as well as an association between the difficulty of eradication and nonspecific IgE levels.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
