Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was conducted with the goal of "revitalizing the team through adequate communication between nursing managers and nurses" by means of accurate emotion management by nursing managers. The results of an interview survey of 15 chief nursing officers revealed that they paid attention to "listening to the nurses even if they are busy" and "praising" when interacting with the nurses. They also stated that they would "talk to their families" and "deal with their feelings by themselves" as a way of dealing with emotions. For nursing managers and nurses to communicate with each other, it is important to express the feelings they have in an appropriate and considerate way. In order to put this kind of exchange into practice, we believe that a learning method using role-playing, which also serves as peer support, is a useful way to acquire skills.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
