Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study developed a Japanese version of the WWWT, a psychoeducational parenting intervention program developed in Australia for the primary prevention of postpartum depression, based on a translation procedure.
Next, the usefulness of the Japanese version of the WWWT was evaluated by both program participants and professionals, and after discussions with the WWWT developers, a Japanese version of the WWWT was developed that could be applied to Japanese culture.
We also developed the WWWT-Japan version as an online intervention method that allows parents to study independently on a Web site, and examined its usefulness.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
