Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The project investiages the dynamic changes of state-civil society relationship in the post-Nepal Earthquake 2015. The project focuses on three thematic area (the power of state, civic engagement and local leadership, as well as reconstruction aid delivery and effectiveness.)
The major acheivements in 2017 include the completion of extensive household survey, indepth interviews and also presentation of initial findings in several international conferences.

The project progress is smooth and the data collection activities are completed as the inital plan.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In coming year, I will continue my fieldwork in the project sites. Meanwhile, I will analyze the household survey data and indepth interviews and plan to disseminate the findings in conferences and journals. The analysis will be focused on 1) the role of citizens in reconstruction and changes in local leadership and 2) understanding the socio-economic situation of project sites, the problems people have faced after the earthquake and how thye resolve the problems, and their interactions with NGOs and government officials.

Causes of Carryover |
I got the cheaper tickets in the financial year 2017 so I will use the remaining fund for coming year.
