Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年、多くの研究機関において、MoodleやBlackboardなどのe-Learningシステムが導入され、フォーマルな学習の場(授業内)の学生の学習状況がログとして蓄積され続けている。本研究では、スマートフォンやタブレット端末などのモバイル機器とRFIDタグやQRコード等のユビキタス技術を使用して、インフォーマルな学習の場(授業外)の学習支援を行う、SCROLLと呼ばれるユビキタス学習システムの開発を行ってきた。学習者は、SCROLLを使用することにより、日常生活での学習体験を電子的に記録し、他の学習者と共有することができる。この研究領域において、フォーマル・インフォーマル学習でe-bookを使用したシームレスな学習の研究が注目されつつある。収集した教育ビッグデータを利用して、どのような分析ができるのか、どのようにして分析結果を教育の現場で効果的に利用できるか、が解決すべき議題となっている。そこで、本研究は、この議題に取り組むために、Moodle、E-bookシステム(デジタル教材配信システム)、SCROLLの3つの学習ツールを用いて収集した教育ビッグデータを統合し、授業内と授業外の双方の学びを橋渡しする、シームレス学習を支援するための可視化・分析方式を提案し、シームレス学習環境を開発・評価することを目的とする。
最終年度は、以下の研究を行った。
(1)平成30年度の評価実験から得られた被験者のコメントからシステムを改善し,再評価を行った。
東京農工大学の学生30名を対象に改善した本システムを利用してもらい再評価を行ったところ、システムのユーザービリティや学習ログの解析を行った。

(2)本システムの改善を行い再評価の結果が学習効果を高めることであったため、国際学会ICCEやLTLEで発表を行い、研究成果を論文誌ILE(WOS,IF=1.6)に採録された.
