| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
若手研究一回目の研究を通して、近代東アジアにおける神智学運動の人的ネットワークの概要を把握した。これまでの中国神智学女子教育に関する研究成果を集結した論文 “Theosophical Movements in Modern China: The Education Provided by Theosophists at the Shanghai International Settlement”は、2020年11月に論集Theosophy Across BoundariesとしてアメリカのSUNY Pressより出版される予定である。2019年7月にはマカオ大学で行われた第22回国際比較文学会（ICLA）にて研究発表 “Internationalism or Pan-Asianism?: H. P. Shastri (1882-1956) and Wu Tingfang (1842-1922)’s Theosophical movement during the 1910s-1920s” を行った。
2018年は論集『神智学と帝国』（出版予定）の編集者となり、論文「近代中国における神智学運動紹介」を寄稿したほか、年表作成も担当した。年表では神智学協会が創立した1875年から第二次世界大戦終戦までの神智学運動の様相を東アジア諸国の仏教復興運動やポストコロニアリズム運動関連の出来事を月単位で整理し、さらに欧米の神智学運動との連動性も紹介した。国内外にわたる膨大な資料の収集・整理・OCR化に力を入れてきた。今後論文化して公表する。
