Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We have three completed papers that came out as part of this research project: (1) "Grounded by Gravity: A Well-Behaved Trade Model with External Economies", (2) "Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for Uniqueness in Spatial Equilibria: The Case of Two Locations", and (3) "A Unified Model of International Business Cycles and Trade". PAPER (1): Last year we got a Revise & Resubmit at "American Economic Journal: Macro" for paper (1). The revision required a lot of work. After doing this work, we submitted our revised version to "AEJ: Macro", and we are now waiting for the next round of referee reports. PAPER (2): After getting a rejection from a top-field journal, we intensely worked on this paper and were able to get new results that we believe are a significant contribution to the literature. We are now preparing this paper for a submission to Econometrica. PAPER (3): We wrote and polished a draft of this paper. Submitted to "The Quarterly Journal of Economics", got rejection but with good referee reports. Based on the referee reports, we revised the paper and submitted it to "The Review of Economic Studies".
