| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
平成29年度に引き続き、「非対称情報の下での最適R&D投資戦略及び特許制度の整備」に関する研究を行った。特に、情報が非対称の場合を想定し、最適な特許保護水準及びR&D補助金に関して分析した単著論文「Patent protection and R&D subsidy under asymmetric information」が、査読付き国際ジャーナルInternational Review of Economics and Financeに掲載されることになった。（掲載確定、出版待ち）
更に、その後続研究として、非対称情報の下でのライセンス契約を分析、単独で執筆した単著論文「Licensing and information disclosure under asymmetric information」も、査読付き国際ジャーナルEuropean Journal of Operational Researchに掲載されることになった。（Vol. 276 No. 1 pp. 314-330）
一方、企業のR&D投資及び設備投資の成果が出るまで不確実な時間がかかる time-to-build 現象に新たに着目し、「Investment and financing decisions in the presence of time-to-build」という題目で単著論文を執筆、数回の研究成果の発表を行った。（国際学会3回、国内学会2回）その後続研究として執筆した単著論文「Investment timing and capacity decisions with time-to-build in a duopoly market」も、国内外の研究集会にて発表を行った。

1年で2本の単著論文が査読付き国際ジャーナルにアクセプトされ、更に2本のワーキングペーパーが出来上がっているため、当初の計画よりも順調に進んでいると言える。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
論文の数という面ではある程度成果を出しているため、これからはトップジャーナルに掲載されるよう、より時間をかけて論文のクォリティーを高める努力する。特に、経済学的な含意が認められ、経済分野のトップジャーナルに掲載されることを最終的な目標とする。
