Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Using ALMA data we revealed the SF laws, GMC properties and obtain the X factor in the molecular disk of Centaurus A. Two papers have been submitted to ApJ: -Espada, Verley et al. 2019. I. STAR FORMATION LAW AT GIANT MOLECULAR CLOUD SCALES -Miura, Espada et al. 2019 II. GIANT MOLECULAR CLOUD CATALOG. Related work on a similar elliptical galaxy hosting a radio source, NGC3557, was submitted to ApJ and accepted. Vila-Vilaro, Espada, et al. 2019 ApJ 870, 39. Four oral contributions showing work related to this KAKENHI program were performed in FY2018: 1) ALMA Science workshop in Osaka, December 2018, 2) ASJ meeting at Hyogo-Himeji September 2018, 3) Seminar at Hokkaido University, June 2018, 4) Seminar at University of Granada (Spain), Feb 2019.
