Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、宇宙の大規模構造形成の背後に潜む数理的構造と、進行中または次世代の観測計画から得られる観測データから引き出せる情報との繋がりを明らかにすべく、大規模かつ系統的数値シミュレーションデータベースに基づく理論的研究を遂行した。最終年度は、大スケールの潮汐場と銀河の向きとの関係、宇宙膨張の局所的非等方性とその内部構造の非等方進化との応答関係、銀河の特異速度が引き起こす赤方偏移歪みを記述する統計モデルの開発など、構造形成の中で自然に生じる物理的、観測的非等方性に着目した研究を推進した。また、期間を通して開発してきた理論モデルを実際の観測データと比較した際に達成可能な宇宙論パラメータの決定精度と、モデルに含まれる誤差やモデルの中に取り入れられていない観測的効果から生じ得る系統誤差の定量的評価にも着手した。前者の観点からの研究では、新たに局所的に非等方膨張する系において、大小スケールに渡って整合的に構造進化を追いかける重力N体シミュレーションの定式化と実装に成功した。これを用いることで、構造進化の非等方応答関数を線形から非線形スケールまで一貫して記述することが可能となった。また、大規模数値シミュレーションデータベースにより訓練された順伝播型ニューラルネットワークに基づくエミュレータと、解析的なハロー・銀河関係とを接続することで、赤方偏移空間における銀河の非等方クラスタリング統計の高速・精密予言を可能にした。後者に関しては、すばる望遠鏡ハイパーシュプリームカムサーベイから得られた弱重力レンズ統計と、スローンディジタルスカイサーベイから得られた銀河クラスタリング統計に則したシミュレーション模擬カタログから現実的な設定で精度評価を行う体制を整え、これまで開発してきた理論モデルは、現在の観測データの持つ統計精度よりも小さいレベルの系統誤差に抑え込めることを数値的に実証した。
