Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、デュアルコム分光法を気相分子の高分解能ラマン分光に応用し、赤外吸収分光法とは異なる選択則の振動遷移を光周波数コムが持つ究極の周波数精度で測定し、分子の振動励起状態ダイナミクスを明らかにすることである。デュアルコム分光法を気相分子のラマン分光に適用するためには測定感度の向上が必要であったため、前年度から引き続き、光コム分光法の高感度化の研究を行った。高フィネス共振器を用いた共振器分光法によって、非常に弱い遷移であるCO気体の倍音遷移の吸収スペクトルを観測することに成功した。この共振器分光法は吸収分光法のみならず、ラマン分光法を含む非線形分光法への適用が可能である。また、ラマン分光法において十分な信号強度を得るために、高出力な光源を用いることが望ましい。そこで本年度には、モード同期Yb添加ファイバレーザーとチャープパルス増幅を用いた光増幅器の開発を開始し、レーザー開発における基礎的なデータを取り終えた。

Reason

本年度には、光コム分光法をラマン分光に適用するために重要である測定感度の向上に取り組み、成果を上げた。また、より強い信号を得るための高強度レーザーの開発は順調に進んでいる。研究実施場所を移したため、モード同期Er添加ファイバレーザーによるデュアルコム分光システムを用いる当初の計画は変更せざるを得ないものの、1台の光周波数コムを用いてデュアルコム分光法と同等の高分解能を得ることが可能な高分解能フーリエ変換分光装置の研究も並行して行っており、これを高分解能ラマン分光法に適用できる見通しである。これらの理由から、本研究はおおむね順調に進捗しているといえる。
