Outline of Final Research Achievements

The present study examined the effects of a 2-week intervention using the "Three Good Things (TGT)" exercise, a typical positive psychology intervention technique, on college students.
The results showed that scores on the POMS "confusion/confusion" and "tension/anxiety" were significantly reduced, and scores on the scales "vitality" and optimism were significantly increased. This suggests that the TGT exercise helps to organize thoughts, resulting in the alleviation of negative emotions and the enhancement of positive emotions. On the other hand, there were no changes in autonomic function.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
