Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, based on the findings of an interview survey of worker cooperatives in the U.S., I clarified, from a management perspective, the function and governance necessary for worker cooperatives in Japan to compete with modern capitalist society.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまで日本ではあまり研究されることのなかったアメリカの労働者協同組合の先進事例にインタビュー調査を行い、その結果を踏まえて、日本の労協にとって必要な機能やガバナンスに関する一定程度の研究成果を提示できたことは、協同組合研究にとっても経営学にとっても研究意義があるものと考えられる。また、日本でも労協法が成立した今、アメリカの実践について情報提供してきた本研究は、労協の現場においても重要なものになったといえる。
