Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study was to explore psychological processes and developmental changes of menopausal women, taking bio-psycho-social factors into consideration. Quantitative research revealed that menopausal symptoms, family support and generaivity affected mental health. Furthermore, qualitative research suggested that non-parenthood may cause a crisis of generativity, at the same time, may promote autonomy for later life.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
