Outline of Annual Research Achievements

縦磁界超伝導ケーブルは、外側シールド層から内部導体に電流に平行な磁界(縦磁界)を印加することで従来ケーブルの2倍以上の電流送電が可能である。しかし、縦磁界ではローレンツフォースフリーにもかかわらず、①磁束線歪開放トルクと②熱振動による量子化磁束の運動が臨界電流特性を低下させることが確認されている。予備実験によりBaZrO3酸化物ナノ粒子をY123超伝導線材に導入し、世界最高の縦磁界中電流特性を得ることに成功した。本研究では、縦磁界中臨界電流向上を目的に、これまで報告例のなくかつ磁束サイズと同等の有機物であるフラーレンC60やナノグラフェンをY123酸化物超伝導線材に導入し縦磁界利用大容量直流ケーブルの実現に貢献することを目的とした。2018年度は、フラーレンC60やナノグラフェンをY123酸化物超伝導線材に導入を試み、作製条件が縦磁界特性に及ぼす影響について検討しC60導入により縦磁場中超伝導特性が向上することが分かった。また、C60導入と並行して、酸化物ナノ粒子導入Y123線材を作製し、1m長程度の縦磁場ケーブルを試作し、従来ケーブルより大容量通電し、縦磁界ケーブルの有効性を示した。これまでの業績として,査読付き学術論文8報、国際学会19件、国内学会9件で研究成果を発表した。
