| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
2020年度は、前年に続き4月～8月の期間にハンガリー・ブダペスト商科大学にて客員教授を務めた。この期間は、新型コロナの発生により、ハンガリー全土はロックダウン中であり、現地調査は実施不可能であった。よって、現地研究協力者と研究を中断することを決定し、2020年8月に帰国することとなった。この期間は、現地調査ができなかったため、以下の研究活動を行った。
①出版予定の東南アジア自動車産業に関する書籍 (Automotive Industrialisation: Industrial Policy and Development)の最終校正
②タイ・チェコ自動車産業の比較発展研究の論文 (Industrial Policy and Automotive Development: A Comparative Study of Thailand and Czechia）の訂正
③ハンガリー自動車産業論文（Magyar Suzuki Corporation and the Hungarian Automotive Industry及びBackward Linkages in the Hungarian Automotive Industry:Where Are the Links Concentrated? ）の作成
また、帰国後には、Magyar Suzuki Corporation and the Hungarian Automotive Industryの原稿を完成させ、SSCIジャーナルに投稿した。さらに、ハンガリー自動車産業に関する学会発表も複数回実施した。加えて、オーストラリア国立大学が発行しているオンライン・ポリシーマガジンに電気自動車に関する記事を寄稿した。

Reason
新型コロナの発生で、現地調査は途中で中断したが、これまでの調査結果を用い、最低限の研究活動（論文執筆）及び研究成果（出版物）は上げていると考えている。

新型コロナ発生により、現地調査は中断している。現在のところ、現地調査の再開の見通しは立っていない。現実的には、これまでの現地調査で得たデータ・情報を活用して、成果に繋げるしか方法は残されていないと考えている。今後の予定としては、ハンガリー自動車産業の論文の出版を目指すことである。
