2021年度は、新型コロナウイルス拡大の影響で、現地調査を行うことが出来ず、調査研究は進まなかったが共同研究者とオンラインを通してのフォローアップを行った。また、研究成果に関しては、下記の通りである。
①東南アジア自動車産業に関する書籍の出版 (英国のRoutledge出版) Natsuda,K and Thoburn, J (2021) Automotove Industrialisation: Industrial Policy and Development in Southeast Asia. London. Routledge.
②タイ・チェコ自動車産業の比較発展研究の論文の出版 (Eurasian Geography and Economics, SSCIジャーナル, IF 2.267),Natsuda, K, Thoburn, J, Blazek, J and Otsuka, K (2022) Industrial Policy and Automotive Development: A Comparative Study of Thailand and Czechia. Eurasian Geography and Economics,63(2): 212-238.
③ハンガリー自動車産業論文の受理,論文タイトル：Magyar Suzuki Corporation and the Hungarian Automotive Industryが、ハンガリー科学アカデミーが出版するSSCIジャーナルであるActa Oeconomicaに受理された。2022年度中に出版予定である。

Reason
新型コロナの発生で、現地調査は中断しているが、これまでの調査結果を用い、最低限の研究活動（論文執筆）及び研究成果（出版物）は上げていると考えている。

新型コロナ発生により、現地調査は中断している。現在のところ、現地調査の再開の見通しは立っていない。これまでの現地調査で得たデータ・情報を活用して、ハンガリー自動車産業の論文の出版を目指す方針である。
