2019年度は、共同研究者Ming-Jen Chang教授の招聘および国際研究集会の開催、共同研究の実施、研究報告、学術論文の執筆を行った。
国際研究集会は「大阪学院大学経済学部講演会」として、2019年5月13日に大阪学院大学において実施した。
本年度に得られた研究成果について、２回の研究報告（国際学会１回、国内研究会１回）を行い、３編の学術論文を執筆した（学術論文については下記参照）。
１．"Exchange rate forecasting with real-time data: Evidence from Western Offshoots," 投稿中, 2019. ２．"Does sectoral productivity convergence promote per capita output convergence in the country level across Asian countries?" 大阪学院大学『経済論集』、第33巻第1・2号、2020年。３．"Quantile and copula spectrum: a new approach to investigate cyclical dependence in economic time series," Recent econometric techniques for macroeconomic and financial data, edited by Gills Dufrenot and Takashi Matsuki, Springer, 2020.
本年度研究期間内において、十分な研究成果を得ることができたと考える。

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
研究計画書におおむね沿う形で研究が進行していると考える、一例として、国家間での経済成長や産業別の生産性について、時系列データを用いた分析により有意義な結果を導くことができ、それを基に研究報告の実施や学術論文の執筆を行えたことが挙げられる。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
2020年度もできる限り研究計画書に従い研究を進めていく予定であるが、新型ウィルス感染症の影響により、渡航時期が遅れており、また参加を予定していた学会や研究会が延期や中止になるなどの状況のため、必要であれば研究計画を修正しつつ実行していく。共同研究者との研究の打ち合わせについてはオンラインで行うことで、ある程度対応できると考える。現地での資料収集に関しては、現地の共同研究者に可能な範囲で依頼しつつ、渡航後に速やかに研究に移れるよう準備を進めておく予定である。
