Research Abstract |
This research area has focused on exploring conceptually new concerto catalysis and has successfully developed highly efficient and practical catalyst systems on the basis of an appreciable improvement in the performance of molecular catalysts in terms of reactivity and selectivity, a significant accumulation of knowledge of multimetallic catalyst systems, a molecular-or nano-level designing of the heterogeneous catalysts, and well considered integration of biocatalysts and chemocatalysts. The newly developed powerful concerto catalysis can provide a great leap towards the goal of organic synthetic chemistry as well as sustainable and green production processes.
