Research Abstract

昆虫は3億年に及ぶ自然淘汰の歴史に耐え抜いた信頼性と実績のある飛行制御システムを持っている。その運動のほとんどは外部から与えられた刺激に対する条件反射であると考えられ、それでいて極めて複雑巧妙な運動が可能である。このような飛行昆虫の制御応答システムを細胞レベルからシステムレベル、さらに人工物による実証機レベルまで統一的に解明する
