Research Abstract

脊髄(頚髄)損傷患者の重篤な体位性低血圧を克服する低侵襲なバイオニック血圧制御システムの基盤技術の開発を目的にする。申請者は、すでに動物モデルにおける体位性低血圧を防ぐバイオニック血圧制御システムの開発に成功している。しかしながら、このシステムでは腹腔神経叢あるいは脊髄に直接電極を装着し、交換神経を刺激することで血圧制御をおこなった。自律神経は体性入力でも修飾されることが知られていることから、本研究では皮膚刺激をアクチュエーターにした低侵襲なバイオニック血圧制御システムを構築する基盤技術を開発する。
