Research Abstract

モデル脊椎動物ゼブラフィッシュにおいてGal4エンハンサートラップ法を開発し、細胞・組織・器官でGal4を特異的に発現するトランスジェニックフィッシュ系統を作製する。またGal4-UASシステムを開発し、Gal4発現細胞の視覚化、機能改変、機能阻害を行う。本研究は脊椎動物遺伝学に新しい方法論を確立し、遺伝子機能・ゲノム機能解析のための基盤を築くものである。
