Research Abstract |
We have established novel concept that small synthetic ligand, which selectively binds to DNA mismatch, could control higher order structures of DNA. DNA hybridization could be reversibly controlled by newly developed photoresponsive mismatch binding ligand, which allowed us to modulate various DNA-based functions depending on the ligand-specified DNA structures.
