Research Abstract |
Aiming to establish retrofit engineering on seriously fatigue damaged steel bridges, quantitative and accurate ultrasonic inspection systems, cause identification methods for fatigue damage, evaluation methods for structural performance of old steels and welded joints, structural strengthening methods and fatigue improving of welded joints were studied. A database on repairing of steel structures and a consultation system for bridge rehabilitation were established on the web.
