Research Abstract

本研究では、体節の分節化過程において「時間経過に沿った漸進的な領域の区画化」を生み出す分子メカニズムの解明を目指し、(1)体節形成に必須な役割をはたす未知の遺伝子の同定と、これら遺伝子を含めた体節形成に関わるさまざまな遺伝子間の相互作用の解明を行う。それと同時に、(2)体節の分節化に関わる遺伝子間作用が体節形成以外の発生過程において担う役割を明らかにし、体節の分節化メカニズムを多角的に理解する。
