| Research Abstract |
The effects of social, psychological, nutritional, medical, and genetic factors on mental health including depression, cognitive impairment, life satisfaction, and quality of life were investigated in an interdisciplinary longitudinal study of 2,400 middle-aged and elderly men and women randomly selected from a community-living population.
