| Research Abstract |
(1) 各種の安定同位体手法を統合し、淡水域および陸域の生態系に横断的に適用することにより、環境質全体の動態を解明する「環境トレーサビリティー手法」の開発を目的としている。
(2) 具体的には、地球化学の分野でそれぞれ独自に発達してきた生元素からなる軽元素安定同位体(C, N, O, H, S)と金属元素(あるいはミネラル元素,Sr, Nd, Pb)の安定同位体を、岩石と水、生物の食物網、産地判別、代謝、移動など、生物とその周囲の環境との相互作用および生物体内での物質動態を解明する方法を確立する。
