Research Abstract

本年度は1. 分子層形成法の開発、2. 構造評価について重点的に研究を行った。
1. 分子層形成法の開発 : 今年度あらたに機能性ペプチドの自己組織化単分子層(SAM)の構築にとりくんだ。具体的には溶媒によって大きく構造を変えることが知られているポリプロリン末端に金表面との結合を可能とするリポ酸を持つ分子を新たに合成し、金表面へのSAM形成過程を還元脱離、SPR、エリプソメトリー、反射IRなどの方法で総合的に検討した。さらに溶媒を水からメタノールに変えることで変化するとSAMの構造が変化することも確認した。この他電極触媒の合成を目指して、複核金属錯体の金表面への配列制御についても調べた。
2. 構造評価 : 昨年度までに開発済みの2種類の表面和周波発生(SFG)分光システムを駆使して、燃料電池の電解質として重要なナフィオン膜表面の水の構造決定や電極表面のCO酸化反応の動的構造評価に成功した。また、昨年度より開発に取り組んでいるギャップモードラマン分光法が金のみならずSERS不活性な白金単結晶表面にも適用可能であることを明らかにし、いくつかの分子について単分子層構造の面方位依存性を決定した。さらに、この手法を電気化学系に応用し、分子層構造の電位に依存した構造変化の追跡にも成功した。さらに、分子層表面に吸着した金属イオンや金属ナノ粒子のXAFSによる構造決定および単結晶表面構造の溶液中、電位制御下での動的構造決定などについても引き続き検討を進めた。
